Now in its 15th
year, the California
On Location Awards is the premiere awards ceremony
saluting location professionals, production companies and public employees
for professional excellence while working on location in the State of
California. The COLAs, as it is
popularly known, honor entertainment location
managers and production companies for their
professionalism and accomplishment in filming on
location in California. The awards salute Location
Professional and Location Team of the Year in the categories
of commercials, music videos, episodic television and
feature films, plus City, County, State and Federal Public Employee of the Year for their tireless work helping California's Entertainment Industry.
The last invitation-only ceremony was held at the Ritz-Carlton, Marina Del Rey on Sunday, October 19, 2008 with over 500 in attendance!
