2009 California On Location Awards
Master of Ceremonies

Lorin Dreyfuss has been writing, producing and acting for over 25 years. Having written, produced, and/or starred in more than a dozen feature films and an equal number of network television pilots, he really finds himself most at home behind the microphone as the writer, producer and voice of thousands of radio and television commercials.  In his own right, he has won dozens of advertising awards, including Clios, Beldings, Tellys, and Lions. He also had been running his own production company and advertising agency.  Lately he made a feeble attempt at retirement, moving to the desert where he began developing two large real estate projects. So much for taking it easy.  He and his lovely wife Elizabeth love their new desert surroundings and still enjoy traveling (especially to Italy); spending time with her 2 and his 3 children; relaxing at their Big Bear Lake getaway, and entertaining their wonderful friends.

Elizabeth Dreyfuss had a film and television location business, ASCOT LOCATIONS, for 15 years along with her son Benjamin Woods in the San Fernando Valley. Elizabeth made it into a success before she sold it and retired to the Palm Springs area with her husband, comedy writer/producer and 'land baron' of Palm Springs, Lorin Dreyfuss (Brother of Richard Dreyfuss). Not many people knew that Elizabeth was in show business years ago in England where she sang jazz and starred in West End musicals. Now, Elizabeth writes, directs and stars in a musical show called RELATIVELY SINGING: An Evening of Cabaret and Sibling Revelry, along with her sister Dela (a renowned Opera singer with a 4 octave range). The show is about never being too old to go back to what you love to do. Elizabeth and Dela come from a 'showbiz' family (her parents were pioneers in the film industry in England). They played their first performance last year to a sold out crowd. Now there is talk of a television show and they are booked throughout the season in the Palm Springs area.
