About the Awards
Now in its 22nd year, the California On-Location Awards™ (COLA) is the premier awards ceremony saluting location professionals, production companies and public employees for professional excellence while working on location in the State of California. COLA is an event of Film Liaisons in California, Statewide (FLICS), a professional organization of film offices that promote and facilitate in-state filming. FLICS welcomes project inquiries and offers a variety of services to help expedite and assist productions.
COLA salutes Location Managers and Location Teams of the Year as well as City, County, State and Federal Public Employees for their efforts in local filming. To date, COLA has bestowed more than 300 honors.
The 2016 Awards will take place on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at The Beverly Hilton Hotel.
Attendance is by invitation only.
The Beverly Hilton represents all that is Southern California's Entertainment Industry. It has hosted the Golden Globe Awards since 1961 and is a regular meeting place for Hollywood. The Hotel is proud to be the choice for On Location Production since 1955.
The Beverly Hilton is within walking distance from the pulse of Century City and Rodeo Drive. Downtown Los Angeles, the Pacific Ocean, the Hollywood Bowl and the Los Angeles International Airport also lie nearby.
